Alternative Provision
Peaceful Paddocks is a farm-based, therapeutic alternative educational provision for the children of Leicestershire. Peaceful Paddocks can support up to 5 children aged between 10 -18.
Busy Smallholding
Whilst being an educational provision for children, Peaceful Paddocks is also a busy smallholding. We raise animals and recognise the importance of rare breeds, educating children about the importance of conservation .
Hands-On Learning
Our programs are child-led, fostering the learning and development of the children we support; offering the growing of fruit and vegetables, woodland activities, woodwork, art therapy and animal assisted activities .
Growing their creative confidence & supporting their personal well-being
Each activity we offer is an opportunity for your child to embrace a new challenge. Through hands-on learning, your child will be given a therapeutic outside education to support their life skills and personal well-being. Learning to grow fruits and vegetables demonstrates the importance of food production whilst educating them on the benefits of healthy eating.
Activities for learning and personal development
While our programs encourage children to become better learners, we include special opportunities for children to work with livestock for animal assisted therapy, to understand the importance of conservation and for the development of their personal well-being.
