Two women standing outdoors on dirt ground, each holding a rope leash attached to a llama or alpaca; the woman on the left has black hair, wears a maroon vest over a patterned long sleeve shirt, and gray boots; the woman on the right has long blond hair, wears a black quilted coat and black boots; a llama with white woolly fur and another with black and brown fluffy fur are between them, and there are trees and houses in the background.
  • Founder/ SENDCo / Lead Teacher and DSL

My journey began as a Teacher of English in Mainstream secondary schools over 20 years ago, where I developed a strong foundation in curriculum planning and delivery, improving literacy skills and student engagement.

Passionate about inclusive education, I transitioned into working within specialist educational settings supporting pupils with a wide range of diverse needs.

I am a qualified SENDCo creating supportive, differentiated and empathetic learning environments that meet diverse needs.

My approach to education is rooted in the belief that learning should be accessible, enriching and connected to the natural world. I am especially passionate about integrating nature-based and animal-assisted learning, sparking curiosity to foster emotional regulation, engagement and self-confidence in young people.

  • Founder /HLTA/ DDSL and Therapeutic Learning Practitioner

I began my career supporting vulnerable adults with mental health conditions, working within the community to promote integration, independence, and overall wellbeing. My early work laid the foundation for a compassionate, holistic approach that has guided me ever since.

With a deep passion for working therapeutically with animals, I went on to combine this approach with my work in special educational needs (SEN) settings. Over the years, I have developed extensive experience supporting children through tailored, therapeutic experiences that connect them with nature and animals.

My vision is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: that every child deserves the chance to grow, heal, and thrive. Through the use of natural resources and outdoor environments, I am dedicated to nurturing children’s confidence, emotional resilience, and self-esteem in a safe, inclusive space.
